Irresistible croissant club sandwiches with avocado, bacon, Swiss cheese, and turkey upgrade the classic club sandwich.
Ingredients:
  • 2 avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 4 croissants, split
  • 8 slices smoked deli turkey breast
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 8 slices cooked bacon
  • 8 slices tomato
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 teaspoons spicy brown mustard, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix mashed avocado with garlic salt, lemon juice, and oregano until well combined.
  • Lay out the halved croissants on a clean surface. Place 2 slices of turkey on the bottom half of each croissant. Top the turkey with 1 slice of Swiss cheese and 2 slices of bacon. Close each sandwich with the top half of the croissant. Place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet.
  • Cook until the cheese is gooey and bubbling, approximately 5 to 7 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Assemble each sandwich by layering 2 tomato slices and 1 lettuce leaf on the bacon. Spread 1 teaspoon of mustard and 1/4 of the avocado mixture on each croissant top before closing the sandwich.
