Effortless pasta salad hack: Add frozen veggies to boiling pasta water for a quick, colorful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (7 oz) spaghetti, broken into thirds
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped red onion
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
Instructions:
  • Prepare spaghetti according to package instructions. In the last 5 to 7 minutes of cooking time, add frozen mixed vegetables. Cook until vegetables are tender. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool thoroughly. Drain well before proceeding.
  • Combine the cooled cooked spaghetti and vegetables with the remaining ingredients in a medium bowl, gently tossing everything together to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to blend before serving.
