Savory sausage, colorful bell peppers, and pasta cooked in a rich tomato sauce for a quick and delicious one-skillet meal. Ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces dry bow-tie pasta
  • 12 ounces sweet Italian sausage, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
  • 1.5 cups thinly sliced onion
  • 1.5 cups thinly sliced red bell pepper
  • 1.5 cups thinly sliced green bell pepper
  • 1.5 cups thinly sliced yellow bell pepper
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans CONTADINA® Tomato Sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Prepare pasta as directed on the package, then drain.
  • In a large non-stick skillet, sauté sausage and onion until sausage is lightly browned. Drain excess grease if necessary, then add peppers and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Pour in the tomato sauce and sprinkle in the fragrant oregano. Let the mixture come to a lively boil. Lower the heat and allow it to simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
  • Combine pasta with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese, ensuring every strand is coated in delicious, cheesy goodness.
