Elevate your taste buds with a cozy and hearty Scottish-inspired Corned Beef Hash casserole, perfect for chilly evenings. Pair with vegetables or crusty French bread for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
  • 4 large baking potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 (16 ounce) can baked beans
  • 1 (12 ounce) can corned beef, broken into pieces
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Boil until tender, approximately 10 minutes. Drain and mash, adding milk, butter, salt, and your favorite seasonings to taste.
  • Spread the baked beans evenly at the bottom of a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Layer sliced corned beef on top, drizzle with a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce, and finish with a layer of creamy mashed potatoes.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes uncovered until the mashed potatoes start to crisp but not brown. Top with cheese and bake for an additional 20 minutes until cheese is browned.
