Delicious oatmeal cookies with cranberries and white chocolate chips, perfect for picnics and camping - a hit with kids!
Ingredients:
  • 2 (4 ounce) containers applesauce
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 0.75 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a baking sheet.
  • Mix together applesauce, butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt with the applesauce mixture. Fold in oats, cranberries, and chocolate chips, then drop large spoonfuls onto the baking sheet.
  • Bake until golden brown in preheated oven for around 15 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on pans briefly before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.
