Festive apple cranberry bread, perfect for holiday mornings.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups peeled, cored and chopped apple
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and give your loaf pan a quick and gentle greasing.
  • In a large bowl, combine apples, sugar, and oil. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Gradually stir the flour mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in cranberries and walnuts. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the oven set to the perfect temperature until a toothpick inserted into the loaf's center comes out clean, for about 35 to 45 minutes.
