Crispy puff pastry squares filled with cranberry sauce, Brie cheese, and walnuts for wow-worthy Thanksgiving appetizers.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) round Brie cheese
  • cooking spray
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 0.5 cup cranberry sauce
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • sea salt to taste
Instructions:
  • Collect all your flavorful ingredients.
  • Peel off and discard the rind from the Brie cheese. Chill the cheese in the freezer for 20 minutes to facilitate cutting.
  • Grease a 24-cup mini muffin pan generously with cooking spray.
  • Gently roll out puff pastry sheet to a 10x14-inch rectangle. Slice into 4 lengthwise and 6 crosswise strips to create 24 squares. Place squares in muffin cups, shaping them gently.
  • Take the Brie out of the freezer and slice into 24 pieces, each about 3/4-inch in size.
  • Spoon a teaspoon of cranberry sauce into each pastry-lined muffin cup, top with a piece of Brie and a teaspoon of chopped walnuts. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 3 days. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Bake bites in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
  • Enjoy while warm.
