Indulge guilt-free with this light, flavorful poached pear dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 500ml (2 cups) diet cranberry juice
  • 1 x 7cm cinnamon stick
  • 2 x 5cm-long pieces orange peel, pith removed
  • 4 medium beurre bosc pears, peeled
  • 1 x 200g tub reduced-fat vanilla fromage frais (Fruche brand), to serve
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, let cranberry juice, cinnamon, and orange peel mingle as they reach a lively boil over high heat. Lower the heat, gently introduce the pears, cover them, and let them simmer for 20 minutes until they reach a delightful tenderness.
  • Arrange the pears in bowls and generously drizzle with the refreshing juice. Enjoy with a dollop of creamy fromage frais.
