Maple cranberry scones: A delightful treat for breakfast or tea, bursting with sweet cranberry chunks.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup maple-flavored syrup
  • 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple-flavored syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F and grease a cookie sheet. In a medium bowl, combine all scone ingredients until a soft dough forms. Transfer dough onto a surface dusted with Bisquick mix; roll in Bisquick mix to coat. Shape into a ball and knead 10 times.
  • Shape the dough into an 8-inch round on a cookie sheet. If the dough is sticky, touch it with Bisquick mix. Cut the dough into 8 wedges without separating them.
  • Bake until golden brown, then gently separate wedges.
  • Combine all glaze ingredients in a small bowl and beat until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the scones and serve them warm.
