Decadent cream puffs: airy choux pastry filled with vanilla cream, topped with luscious chocolate drizzle.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
Instructions:
  • Combine vanilla instant pudding mix, cream, and milk until smooth. Chill, covered, in the refrigerator until firm.
  • Heat your oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Bring a generous amount of water and butter to a vigorous boil in a large pot.
  • Combine the flour and salt until they come together to form a ball of dough.
  • Place the dough into a spacious mixing bowl and gradually incorporate the eggs one by one using a wooden spoon or a stand mixer, ensuring thorough mixing with each addition.
  • Spoon tablespoonfuls of the mixture onto a non-greased baking sheet, leaving a few inches of space between each spoonful.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown with dry centers.
  • Once the shells have cooled, you can either carefully split them and fill with the pudding mixture or elegantly pipe the pudding into the shells using a pastry bag.
