Eggcellent creamed eggs - a creamy, decadent dish perfect for breakfast or using up Easter leftovers!
Ingredients:
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground white pepper, if desired
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • "Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover, and let eggs sit in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Then, remove, cool, peel, and chop."
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until smooth. Stir in the flour, then gradually mix in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture boils smoothly.
  • Combine white pepper, salt, black pepper, and chopped eggs into the sauce; stir until eggs are heated.
