Delicious cod fillets topped with creamy Parmesan mayo, lemon, dill, and hot sauce, then broiled for the perfect fish dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon butter, or as needed
  • 0.75 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter, softened
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onion
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill weed
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 dashes hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
  • 2 pounds cod fillets
Instructions:
  • Prepare your work station by collecting the necessary ingredients. Position an oven rack 6 inches below the broiler and preheat the broiler function in your oven. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and gently butter it with 1 teaspoon of butter.
  • Combine Parmesan cheese, 1/3 cup of butter, mayonnaise, green onion, lemon juice, dill, salt, black pepper, and hot sauce in a medium bowl, mixing until thoroughly blended. Set aside.
  • Arrange the cod fillets neatly on the lined baking sheet.
  • Broil the fish until it easily flakes with a fork, about 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Spread the Parmesan mixture delicately over the fish, then place it back in the oven and broil until the topping is golden brown and bubbly, approximately 2 minutes.
