Cheesy potato casserole: Creamy potato soup, sour cream, hash browns, green onion, and melted cheese baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of potato soup
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 (2 pound) package frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 0.33300000429153 cup chopped green onions
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for optimal cooking temperature.
  • Gently warm sour cream, condensed soup, and butter in a small pot over low heat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, toss together potatoes, 1 cup of cheese, and green onions. Stir in the warmed soup mixture, then season with salt and pepper. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch dish and top it off with the remaining cheese before baking.
  • Bake in the cozy oven until golden brown and delicious, then serve warm.
