Elevate scalloped potatoes with creamy heavy cream, ham, peas, and Cheddar for a deluxe and satisfying dish using Betty Crocker™ mix. Easy and decadent twist for a quick dinner or impressive side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 boxes (4.7 oz each) Betty Crocker™ scalloped potatoes
  • 1 cup diced ham steak
  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh chives
  • 1 cup shredded white Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 450°F and generously spray a 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine both packages of potatoes and sauce mix from the scalloped potatoes boxes, along with the ham and frozen peas. Pour boiling water and whipping cream over the mixture and stir well. Add 1 tablespoon of chives and mix again. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the potato mixture ensuring an even layer. Bake for 33 to 35 minutes, or until the top is beautifully golden brown and the potatoes are fork-tender. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes to let the sauce thicken. Finally, garnish with the remaining 1 tablespoon of chives before serving.
