Bisquick® mix elevates tuna and veggie wedges for a delicious appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/3 cup boiling water
  • 2 medium green onions, sliced (2 tablespoons)
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can (6 ounces) tuna in water, drained
  • 3 cups fresh vegetables (sliced radishes, celery or red onion; chopped broccoli, cauliflower, bell pepper or yellow summer squash)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (4 ounces), if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F. In a medium bowl, combine Bisquick, boiling water, and onions until a soft dough forms. Beat vigorously around 20 times.
  • Spread the dough evenly in a 12-inch pizza pan without greasing it, using Bisquick-dusted fingers to shape. Create a 1/2-inch rim by pinching the edge. Bake for approximately 10 minutes until lightly browned. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before proceeding.
  • Blend cream cheese, sour cream, dill weed, garlic powder, and tuna until smooth. Spread the mixture evenly over the crust and chill for 1 to 2 hours. Before serving, add vegetables and cheese on top. Cut into wedges and enjoy!
