Crispy maple doughnuts

Whip up quick and delicious maple syrup-glazed doughnuts for dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 8 cinnamon doughnuts
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) maple syrup
  • 4 scoops honey and macadamia ice-cream
  • 18.40 gm walnuts, toasted, chopped
Instructions:
  • Heat up the sandwich press. Coat the doughnuts with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup. Place half of the doughnuts in the press. Cook, flipping occasionally, for 4-5 minutes until warm and caramelized. Keep them warm. Repeat with the rest of the doughnuts.
  • Serve the warm caramelized doughnuts on plates, add a scoop of ice cream, sprinkle with walnuts, and drizzle with the remaining maple syrup.
