Crispy Pretzel Apple Dessert

Crispy pretzels with cinnamon apples, ice cream, and caramel drizzle.
Ingredients:
  • 4 Sister Schubert's® Soft Pretzel Rolls, thawed
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 golden delicious apples, diced
  • 1 pinch Pinch cinnamon
  • 6 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 0.75 cup Marzetti® Old Fashioned Caramel Dip or Sweet & Salty Caramel Dip
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Slice each roll into 4 or 5 thin pieces and lay them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush the top of each slice with butter and generously sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake the pretzel slices until the edges turn lightly golden, which should take about 5 to 7 minutes. Take them out of the oven.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet, then saute apple pieces with cinnamon for 3 to 5 minutes until tender.
  • Warm the Marzetti Caramel Dip in a microwave-safe dish by heating in 10-second increments.
  • Create a delightful dessert by stacking pretzel crisps with warm apples, ice cream, and warm caramel dip and present it to enjoy.
