Impress your party guests with irresistible pork-filled fried wontons that will disappear in no time!
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 pound ground pork
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 8 canned water chestnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 0.5 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
  • 1 (16 ounce) package wonton skins
  • 1 quart oil for frying
Instructions:
  • Combine pork, green onions, water chestnuts, soy sauce, cornstarch, salt, and ginger in a medium bowl until fully mixed. Spoon 1/2 teaspoon pork mixture onto a wonton skin, fold to make a triangle, seal edges with water, and press firmly to close. Repeat with the rest of the wonton skins.
  • Fry wontons in hot oil until crispy and golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
