Indulgent frosted brookies combine Betty Crocker brownie and chocolate chip cookie mixes for the ultimate game day treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box for cakelike brownies
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. Prepare the brownie batter following the instructions on the box for a cakelike texture, then spread it evenly in the pan.
  • Prepare the cookie mix following the package instructions. Spoon rounded tablespoonfuls of dough evenly onto the brownie batter and gently press down.
  • Bake for 28 to 32 minutes or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out nearly clean. Allow to cool completely on a rack for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Frost with your favorite frosting and cut into 6 rows by 4 rows to serve as delicious brownies.
