Chocolate chip cookies with a satisfying crunch from crispy rice cereal.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup raisins
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg and vanilla. Add the flour mixture and combine. Fold in the crisp rice cereal, chocolate chips, and raisins.
  • Spoon cookie dough onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes.
