Tangy Gouda cheese spread enhanced with zesty lemon juice and aromatic curry powder, perfect with fresh fruit or crispy crackers.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (7-oz.) Gouda cheese with red wax coating
  • 1 (3-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
Instructions:
  • Using a sharp knife, cut a 3-inch diameter slice off the top of the Gouda cheese. Gently hollow out the cheese, making sure to keep the wax coating intact to create a shell.
  • Combine Gouda cheese, cream cheese, honey, lemon juice, and curry powder in a food processor with a metal blade. Blend until smooth. Spoon the cheese mixture into the shell, mounding it in the center. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight to allow flavors to blend.
  • Let cheese sit at room temperature for 1 hour for effortless spreading. Arrange cheese on a serving tray and complement with fresh peaches, pears, apples, pineapples, grapes, and assorted crackers. Enjoy by spreading cheese on fruit or crackers.
