Israeli pearl couscous: versatile, flavorful grain that pairs perfectly with any protein. Ideal base for fish, chicken, beef, or vegetarian dishes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.25 cup minced onion
  • 2 cubes vegetable bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon yellow curry powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 cups pearl (Israeli) couscous
  • 2.5 cups water
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté onion with bouillon cubes, curry powder, and oregano until onion is soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in couscous until fully combined.
  • Pour water into the saucepan and bring to a lively boil. Cover, lower the heat, and gently simmer, stirring often, until couscous is tender, 8 to 10 minutes.
