Delightful homemade crunchy biscuit perfect for gifting.
Ingredients:
  • 250g butter, softened
  • 75.00 gm pure icing sugar
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
  • 437.50 ml plain flour
  • 65.00 gm custard powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. In a food processor, combine butter, sugar, and vanilla until well blended, about 2 minutes.
  • Combine the flour and custard powder in a food processor and pulse until just mixed, being careful not to over-process to maintain a fine texture for the biscuits.
  • Take heaped teaspoonfuls of the mixture and shape them into small balls. Arrange them on the prepared baking trays and gently press them down with a floured fork to slightly flatten them. Bake for 12 minutes, or until they turn light golden in color. Let them sit on the trays for 2 minutes before moving them to a wire rack to cool. Repeat the process with the rest of the biscuit mixture.
