Dandelion Blossom Muffins with Chocolate Chips

Transform dandelion blossoms into scrumptious chocolate chip muffins instead of wasting them.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.75 cup chocolate chips, or to taste
  • 1 cup lightly packed dandelion petals
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 12-cup muffin tin with greased or lined paper cups.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Create a well. In another bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, oil, and egg until smooth. Pour into the well and stir until just combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips and dandelion petals until well mixed.
  • Fill each prepared muffin cup with batter, leaving a 1/4 inch space at the top.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown and tops spring back when lightly pressed, for about 25 minutes.
