Delicious sweet and spicy sauce with soy, Worcestershire, cayenne, mustard, tomato paste, and brown sugar coats beef or pork sausages. Enjoy with potatoes, sweet potato mash, or over steamed rice with veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound sausages
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, sizzle sausages in olive oil for about 15 minutes until nicely browned and fully cooked.
  • After draining the fat, place the skillet with the sausages back on medium heat. Add water, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, cayenne, tomato paste, and brown sugar to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
