Try these irresistibly crispy Dorito-crusted pork chops for a quick and succulent meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 (5.5 ounce) package ranch-flavored tortilla chips (such as Doritos® Cool Ranch®), crushed
  • 0.5 (5.5 ounce) package nacho cheese-flavored corn chips (such as Doritos®), crushed
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 6 boneless pork chops, 3/4-inch thick
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Evenly layer the crushed chips on the base of a shallow dish.
  • Whisk together egg, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Spread the melted butter across the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish by tilting it in all directions until evenly coated.
  • Coat pork chops in egg wash and press into the crushed chips until fully covered. Transfer the breaded pork chops to a casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle the tops of pork chops generously with garlic powder and onion powder for an explosion of flavor.
  • Place the pork chops in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes. Then, flip the pork chops, sprinkle garlic powder and onion powder on the other side, and continue cooking until fully cooked, approximately 10 more minutes. Check the doneness by ensuring the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C) with an instant-read thermometer.
