Whip up cute egg-shaped brownies using Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix for easy baking. Decorate with colorful Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting for a fun Easter treat perfect for brunch or a holiday project with the kids. Delicious and festive!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
  • 2/3 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • Betty Crocker™ Pastel Gel Food Color, as desired
  • Betty Crocker™ Sprinkles, as desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 13x9-inch pan with foil, leaving some overhang. Grease foil with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Follow the box instructions to make and bake the brownies. Allow them to cool completely on a cooling rack for about 1 hour. After that, freeze them in the pan for 30 minutes.
  • Use the foil to easily lift the brownies out of the pan and peel the foil off. Cut out 9 egg shapes with a 3-inch egg-shaped cookie cutter, arranging them in 3 rows by 3 rows. Gently push out each brownie from the cutter. Reserve the end pieces for snacking. If the cutter becomes sticky, simply wipe it clean with a damp paper towel before cutting more eggs.
  • In a small bowl, add frosting and color it to your preference using food coloring. Spread a generous 1 tablespoon of the colored frosting on top of each brownie. Decorate with candy sprinkles and colored sugars as you like. Repeat the process with the rest of the brownies, using the photo as a reference if needed.
  • Allow the frosting to set for approximately 30 minutes. Then, store the covered dish in a single layer at room temperature.
