Coat chocolate cake batter donuts in rich chocolate glaze for a decadent treat.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup from 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 1 cup Bisquick™ Original Pancake & Baking Mix
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously grease 2 doughnut pans with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Combine the cake mix, Bisquick™ mix, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Add the milk, oil, and eggs, then mix until fully combined. Fill each doughnut cup three-fourths full with the batter.
  • Bake the doughnuts for 15 to 17 minutes until they spring back when touched. Allow them to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack using a small metal spatula if needed. Let them cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Transfer the frosting into a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 25 to 35 seconds until warm and slightly runny.
  • Dip each doughnut halfway into the warmed frosting, allowing any excess to drip off. Then, place the doughnut right side up on a cooling rack set over a cookie sheet or wax paper.
