Effortlessly enjoy flavorful baked pork chops with stuffing mix and stewed tomatoes.
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons butter, cut into small chunks
  • 2 (14 ounce) packages dry stuffing mix (such as Stove Top®)
  • 6 boneless center-cut pork chops
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans Italian-style stewed tomatoes
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Line the bottom of a cast iron Dutch oven with butter, then evenly spread dry stuffing mix on top. Lay pork chops over the stuffing layer and pour tomatoes over the pork chops.
  • Bake the chops until they are slightly pink in the center, which should take about 1 hour. Use an instant-read thermometer to check that the center reaches at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), then season with salt and pepper.
