25-minute broccoli pizza with two cheeses, a delightful twist on Italian classic.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (16 ounces) Italian bread shell or ready-to-serve pizza crust (12 to 14 inches in diameter)
  • 2/3 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 teaspoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 2 cups broccoli slaw
  • 2/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Place the bread shell on a cookie sheet without any grease. Evenly spread pizza sauce over the bread shell.
  • In an 8-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic and onion until onion is tender. Add broccoli slaw, stir occasionally, and cook for 5 to 6 minutes until broccoli is crisp-tender, adding water if needed to prevent sticking.
  • Evenly spread the vegetable mixture over the pizza sauce, then generously sprinkle with the cheeses.
  • Bake for approximately 10 minutes until the cheese is gooey and bubbling.
