Easy Caramilk blender mousse recipe

Blend for a quick and easy Caramilk chocolate mousse.
Ingredients:
  • 55g (¼ cup) caster sugar
  • 20.00 gm water
  • 300g Caramilk chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 300ml thickened cream, whipped to firm peaks
  • Double cream, to serve
  • Extra Caramilk chocolate, shaved into curls, to serve
  • 100g milk chocolate, shaved into curls
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil. Stir occasionally until the sugar has melted. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  • In a blender, combine the Caramilk and eggs until smooth. Remove the pouring cap from the lid and slowly pour in the hot syrup while blending for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is cooled.
  • Gently swirl one-third of the thickened cream into the luscious Caramilk mixture. Then, gently fold in the rest of the cream until the mixture is silky smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into serving glasses and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until firm. To serve, top with a dollop of double cream and garnish with Caramilk curls and milk chocolate curls.
