Creamy Chicken Alfredo with mixed vegetables and linguine - simple comfort food for busy nights.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound uncooked fettuccine or linguine
  • 2 boneless chicken breast halves, cooked and cubed
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo-style pasta sauce
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  • 0.33333334326744 cup milk
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add fettuccine and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain thoroughly.
  • Once the pasta is cooking, combine cubed cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, frozen vegetables, mushrooms, and milk in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir and cook until chicken is warmed through and vegetables are tender.
  • Spoon the creamy Alfredo sauce with chicken over freshly cooked noodles and serve while still warm.
