Indulgent chocolate cheesecake with a buttery graham cracker crust and a decadent filling of chocolate chips, cream cheese, and sour cream.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.33333334326744 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar (Optional)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons sugar in a bowl, ensuring they are thoroughly mixed. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and 2 inches up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set the crust.
  • Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently with a rubber spatula until smooth, about 5 minutes. Let it cool slightly.
  • In a large bowl, whip cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until velvety. Add eggs one by one until combined. Slowly mix in melted chocolate until fully integrated. Stir in 1/2 cup sour cream, flour, and vanilla until smooth. Pour mixture into crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes until the center is set and the filling is firm. Let the cheesecake cool in the turned-off oven for 1 hour without opening the door. Then, cool the cheesecake at room temperature until completely cooled. Finally, refrigerate the cheesecake for several hours or overnight before serving.
  • Combine 1/2 cup sour cream and 1 tablespoon sugar in a small bowl until smooth. Spread over chilled cheesecake before serving.
