Eggnog-infused creme brulee combines holiday flavors for a decadent treat.
Ingredients:
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons white sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, vigorously whisk together egg yolks and 1 tablespoon of sugar until the sugar dissolves. Stir in the eggnog, cream, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  • Divide the eggnog mixture into 4 ramekins. Set the ramekins in a baking dish and add boiling water halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour until set. Allow to cool briefly, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Preheat your oven's broiler with the rack positioned 6 inches from the heat source.
  • Unwrap ramekins. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar evenly on top of each. Caramelize the sugar until golden using a kitchen torch or broiler, for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
