Easy and delicious eggnog spritz cookies made with rum extract and nutmeg, no eggnog required! Perfect for any eggnog lover.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon rum extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon rum extract
  • Betty Crocker™ red and green decorating sugars, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, butter, egg, flour, 1 teaspoon extract, and nutmeg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms.
  • Prepare your favorite cookie press design. Load the press with cookie dough and create beautifully shaped cookies on baking sheets without greasing them.
  • Bake for 6-8 minutes until set. Allow to cool for 1 minute, then transfer to a wire rack. Let cool completely for about 20 minutes.
  • Combine powdered sugar, milk, and 1/4 teaspoon extract in a small bowl until you achieve the desired consistency. Drizzle the glaze over the cookies and sprinkle with colored sugar.
