Easy Fresh Peach Cobbler

Peaches dressed in buttery sauce, baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 5 fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 5 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.
  • Spread the peaches evenly in the dish. Cut the bread slices into five pieces each and arrange them on top of the peaches. In a bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, egg, and butter until smooth. Pour the mixture over the bread and peaches.
  • Bake until golden in a preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
