Easy and delicious glazed ham recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 ham on the bone
  • 150g jar ham glaze (see note)
  • 30 whole cloves
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 170°C for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Peel off and save the outer skin of the ham to maintain its moisture when storing.
  • Score the white fat of the ham into diamond shapes using a sharp knife. Place the ham on a rack over a roasting pan. Brush the ham all over with glaze, then insert a clove into the center of each diamond. Pour 1 1/4 cups (310ml) of water into the roasting pan. Bake the ham for 25 minutes until golden, then set aside. If there is remaining liquid in the pan, simmer over medium heat until syrupy. Drizzle over the ham just before serving.
