Celebrate Christmas with a quick and easy glazed ham - a delicious holiday favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 60ml brandy
  • 1/2 leg ham
  • 20-30 whole cloves
  • 250g fine-cut marmalade
  • 11.80 gm Dijon mustard
  • 2.50 gm arrowroot
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  • Carefully peel off the skin from the ham, being mindful to keep the fat intact. Score the fat with a sharp knife in a criss-cross pattern.
  • Insert a whole clove into the center of each diamond, ensuring it is well pushed in.
  • Combine the marmalade, mustard, and brandy in a saucepan over low heat, gently whisking until the marmalade dissolves. Simmer for 5-6 minutes until slightly reduced.
  • Combine the arrowroot with a splash of cold water, stir into the glaze, and simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes until it thickens. Allow it to cool for 15 minutes.
  • Brush the glaze over the ham using a large pastry brush, ensuring full coverage over all the fat.
  • Prepare a baking dish by lining it with baking paper. Place the ham in the dish and bake for 15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden. Then, slice the ham and serve either warm or cold.
