Easy honey glazed ham: bake to tender, caramelized perfection for a budget-friendly holiday showstopper!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (5 pound) ready-to-eat ham
  • 0.25 cup whole cloves
  • 0.25 cup dark corn syrup
  • 2 cups honey
  • 0.66666668653488 cup butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • Make shallow cuts on the surface of the ham and insert the whole cloves into the cuts. Put the ham in a pan lined with foil.
  • Heat corn syrup, honey, and butter in the top half of a double boiler until smooth and warm. Keep the glaze warm while baking the ham.
  • Glaze the ham and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • Brush the ham generously with the sticky honey glaze every 10-15 minutes. When there are only 4-5 minutes left, switch on the broiler to create a beautiful caramelized finish. Take the ham out of the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
  • Enjoy immediately while hot!
