Create stunning iced oatmeal cookies effortlessly using Betty Crocker™ oatmeal cookie mix!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Oatmeal Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons butterscotch topping
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/3 cups powdered sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a cookie sheet. In a large bowl, combine cookie mix, butter, egg, water, and cardamom. Mix thoroughly using a spoon or electric mixer.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a cookie sheet, spacing them 1 inch apart. Bake until the edges turn golden brown, about 11 to 13 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack.
  • In a medium bowl, blend the icing ingredients until they form a smooth mixture. Use the icing to frost the cookies while they are still slightly warm.
