Effortlessly whip up creamy Instant Pot mash with sour cream, butter, and milk for delicious results.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 2 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, cubed
Instructions:
  • If desired, peel the potatoes and cut them into 1-inch cubes. Place them in a multi-functional pressure cooker like an Instant Pot with water and bouillon cubes. Choose the Sauté function and cook for 4 minutes.
  • Combine potatoes, water, and bouillon cubes in your pressure cooker. Seal the lid securely. Set the pressure to high following the manufacturer's guidelines and cook for 10 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Follow the manufacturer's instructions to naturally release pressure for about 10 minutes. Then carefully quick-release any remaining pressure. Remove the pot and gently drain off most of the liquid.
  • Combine sour cream, butter, and milk, then delicately mash with a potato masher until you achieve your preferred texture.
