Elevate store-bought cookie mix into decadent marble chocolate chip slice.
Ingredients:
  • 485g milk chocolate chunk cookie mixture
  • 82.50 ml crushed nuts
  • 80g butter, softened
  • 1 Brand free range egg, lightly beaten
  • 180g white chocolate, chopped
  • 200g milk chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C or 160C fan. Line a 28cm x 18cm slice tin with non-stick baking paper, leaving an overhang on the two longer sides.
  • Combine the cookie mixture, nuts, butter, and egg in a bowl. Use a wooden spoon and then your hands to mix thoroughly. Press the mixture into a tin, smoothing the surface with the back of a spoon. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool in the tin.
  • Place the chocolate in individual bowls and microwave each for 2 minutes, or until softened. Stir until smooth. Spoon dollops of chocolate onto the slice, then swirl with a skewer for a marbled effect. Chill in the fridge for 20 minutes, or until firm.
  • Allow sliced chocolate to come to room temperature to soften slightly, then remove from pan and cut into squares before serving.
