Make cute polar bear cupcakes for kids' parties using store-bought or homemade cupcakes.
Ingredients:
  • 18 unfrosted cupcakes, cooled
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2.75 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
  • 42 miniature marshmallows
  • 44 black sugar pearl sprinkles, or as needed
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, cream butter until smooth using an electric mixer. Add cream cheese and beat until fully combined. Gradually mix in powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and salt until fully blended. Pour in heavy cream and beat until frosting is smooth, for about 2 minutes.
  • Frost 1 baked and cooled cupcake with cream cheese frosting, ensuring a smooth layer. Sprinkle coconut on top of the frosting, gently shaking off any extra.
  • Cut 1 mini marshmallow in half horizontally. Place one half cut-side down in the center of the cupcake's top; press gently into the frosting. Attach 1 black sugar pearl sprinkle to the middle of the marshmallow half with a bit of frosting to make the nose and muzzle. Add 2 black sugar pearl sprinkles above the nose on each side for the eyes. Place 2 whole mini marshmallows at the top of the cupcake on each side for the ears. Repeat for the remaining cupcakes.
