Spicy Asian pork sliders for a delicious twist on a classic dish.
Ingredients:
  • 500 g pork mince
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 20.00 ml grated ginger
  • 2 tsp lemongrass paste
  • 16.50 gm sweet chilli sauce, plus extra to serve
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 62.50 ml finely chopped mint, plus extra leaves, to serve
  • 350g kaleslaw, with seeds and dressing
  • 12 slider buns, split
  • Lime wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix together pork mince, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, chili sauce, spring onion, and mint. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Form 4 tablespoonfuls of the mixture into patties, yielding 12 patties in total. Grease a large chargrill or non-stick frying pan with oil and heat over medium-high heat. Cook the patties in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side, ensuring they are cooked through.
  • Toss slaw with seeds and half of the dressing. Divide slaw among buns, top with patties, and serve with additional mint, chili sauce, remaining dressing, and lime wedges.
