Savory one-pot spaghetti with tomato broth and ground beef for quick weeknight dinners.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 18 fluid ounces tomato juice
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 1.5 teaspoons chili powder, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 7 ounces spaghetti
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown and crumble the beef for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Combine water, tomato juice, tomato paste, minced onion, chili powder, sugar, oregano, garlic salt, and salt with ground beef in a skillet. Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes until flavors meld.
  • Add spaghetti into the flavorful beef mixture, gently stirring to separate the strands. Cover the skillet and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, until the spaghetti is tender, approximately 30 minutes.
