Sous vide corned beef: Easy prep for a delicious Saint Patrick's Day meal. Just plan ahead!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (5 pound) flat corned beef roast
  • 2 teaspoons browning liquid
Instructions:
  • Unwrap the corned beef and place it in a bowl of water. Discard the seasoning packet. Cover and refrigerate for up to 8 hours.
  • The following day, drain the corned beef and gently dry it. Coat all sides with browning liquid, then evenly sprinkle garlic powder and onion powder.
  • Place the seasoned corned beef in a plastic bag and vacuum seal it for maximum flavor infusion.
  • Drop the sealed bag into the sous vide container, secure it, and set the circulator to 165°F (74°C) for 10 hours. Start the circulator and let it work its magic.
  • Remove the vacuum-sealed bag from the water bath and let it cool for about 10 minutes until it's easy to handle. Slice the corned beef into 1/4-inch-thick slices, or to your preferred thickness.
