Quick and simple yogurt cake using just one container for measuring. Ready in under an hour, this makes a perfect mildly sweet snack or breakfast!
Ingredients:
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 (5 ounce) container plain yogurt
  • 1/2 yogurt container vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 yogurt containers white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 yogurt containers all-purpose flour
  • 2.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a 9-inch round springform cake pan for baking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt and measure out the oil using the yogurt container. Set aside. Rinse and dry the yogurt container for further measuring.
  • Combine eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract with the yogurt-oil mixture, beating until fully mixed. Then add flour, baking powder, and salt, stirring until just combined. The batter will be thick. Pour into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly on top.
  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 25-30 minutes.
