Kid-friendly slime made from marshmallows, coconut oil, and cornflour featuring fun monster, mermaid, gummy bear, and unicorn themes. Safe to eat for worry-free playtime.
Ingredients:
  • 800g white marshmallows
  • 134.40 gm solid coconut oil
  • 70g (1/2 cup) cornflour, plus extra, to dust
  • 4-6 drops good-quality electric green gel or paste food colouring
  • 4-6 drops good-quality blue gel or paste food colouring
  • 4-6 drops good-quality yellow gel or paste food colouring
  • Mini gummy bears, to decorate
  • 4-6 drops good-quality pink gel or paste food colouring
Instructions:
  • For Monster Slime: Combine 200g of marshmallows and coconut oil in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until marshmallows are melted but not overheated.
  • Combine the cornflour and mix thoroughly. Incorporate the food coloring until fully blended into the warm mixture.
  • Sprinkle extra cornflour on a non-stick silicone baking mat or plastic chopping board. Put the mixture on the mat and cover it with an upside-down bowl. Let it sit for 20 minutes to cool and firm up.
  • Dust the mixture with additional cornflour and gently knead, using more as needed to prevent sticking (pulling and rolling helps the mixture combine and become elastic). Incorporate the icing eyes by lightly kneading. Enjoy shaping the mixture into balls and embellishing them with icing moustaches and additional icing eyes.
  • Divide 200g of marshmallows and coconut oil equally into 2 microwave-safe bowls for a magical Mermaid slime creation.
  • Microwave each bowl on High for 20 seconds, stirring after. Continue microwaving in 10-second intervals, stirring between, until the marshmallows just melt. Be cautious not to overheat.
  • Separate the cornflour into bowls. Stir vigorously until fully combined. Add food coloring to one bowl and mix thoroughly (the mixture will be pleasantly warm).
  • Sprinkle extra cornflour on a non-stick silicone baking mat or plastic chopping board. Place the mixtures on the prepared surface and cover each with an upside-down bowl. Allow them to sit for 20 minutes to cool and firm up.
  • Dust the mixtures with additional cornflour. Slowly incorporate sprinkles into the blue mixture and gently knead, adding more cornflour as needed to avoid sticking (stretch and fold to enhance elasticity). Form a ball. Shape the white mixture into a ball as well, then combine the 2 balls to achieve a marbled appearance. Roll into a log shape. Get creative and mold into coils, optionally embellish with more sprinkles.
  • Create Gummer bear slime by combining 200g of marshmallows and coconut oil in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 20 seconds, stir, then microwave in 10-second intervals, stirring each time until the marshmallows have just melted (avoid overdoing it).
  • Combine the cornflour and mix thoroughly. Add the food colouring and stir until well incorporated (the mixture will be warm).
  • Sprinkle additional cornflour on a non-stick silicone baking mat or plastic chopping board. Transfer the mixture onto the surface and place an upside-down bowl over it. Allow it to cool for 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Sprinkle the mixture with additional cornflour and gently knead, adding more cornflour as needed to prevent sticking (the stretching and rolling will help it become stretchy). Incorporate gummy bears into the mixture with a light knead. Enjoy shaping into balls and adding more gummy bears for decoration, if desired.
  • Create magical Unicorn slime by evenly dividing 200g marshmallows and coconut oil between 2 microwave-safe bowls. Microwave each bowl on High for 20 seconds. Stir well and microwave in 10-second intervals, stirring after each, until marshmallows have just melted. Be cautious not to overheat.
  • Divide the cornflour evenly into separate bowls. Stir until fully combined. Add food coloring to one bowl and mix thoroughly (the mixture will be pleasantly warm).
  • Sprinkle extra cornflour on a non-stick silicone baking mat or plastic chopping board. Gently transfer each mixture onto the mat and cover them with upside-down bowls. Allow them to cool for 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Sprinkle both mixtures with extra cornflour. Gradually incorporate sprinkles into the white mixture and knead gently, adding more cornflour as needed to prevent sticking. Pull and roll the mixture to combine and develop elasticity. Form each mixture into a long log. Roll the pink mixture into a log and combine the two logs to achieve a marbled effect. Shape into coils or any other desired shapes for fun. Decorate with sprinkles and icing unicorns to finish.
