"Delightful smoked oysters marinated in briny oyster liquor for flavor-packed perfection."
Ingredients:
  • cherry wood chips
  • 12 fresh oysters in shells, rinsed and scrubbed clean
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your electric smoker to a perfect 225 degrees Fahrenheit (110 degrees Celsius) and add the wood chips as directed by the manufacturer.
  • Shuck the oysters to remove the top shells, then transfer oysters and their juice to a bowl. Season with salt and let marinate for 20 minutes. Remove top shells, clean and keep the bottom shells.
  • Discard the oyster juice and carefully transfer each oyster into a clean shell.
  • Lay the shells on the smoker grate and let them smoke for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Take the oysters out of the smoker and place them on a platter. Add a sprinkle of Worcestershire sauce on each one and serve.
