Easily elegant open-faced smoked salmon sandwiches for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped scallion
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon bottled minced garlic
  • 8 slices smoked salmon
  • 0.5 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 lemon
Instructions:
  • Toast bread slices in a toaster until perfectly golden and crispy, for about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the butter, scallion, parsley, and garlic.
  • Spread each piece of bread with a generous layer of herbed butter mixture, ensuring it reaches every corner. Layer with a double helping of smoked salmon, adding a refreshing layer of cucumber on top. Finish with a generous squeeze of zesty lemon juice. Cut diagonally for an elegant presentation and enjoy promptly.
